Transforming Trinity College Dublin's Visitor Experience website for Visit Trinity and the Book of Kells Experience


Challenge
Trinity College Dublin welcomes over 2 million tourists annually to their historic city centre campus. The team at Visit Trinity wanted to streamline their visitors’ online experience with a new website, VisitTrinity.ie. This would allow them promote the full offering of Trinity College Dublin, which includes the Book of Kells Experience, campus tours, summer accommodation, food, events, and branded merchandise. The strategy was to drive strong traffic, inform their audience about everything on offer throughout the campus and convert interest into ticket sales.
Solution
The design team created a seamless, accessible, and dynamic user experience across devices. The result integrates ticket sales, accommodation booking, and e-commerce. We also delivered a technical SEO and search strategy to enhance the website’s visibility and discoverability.
We chose WordPress CMS for its flexibility and scalability, empowering the Visit Trinity team with a modular build that gives them control and a streamlined editing experience.
